Global Support and Care Ltd offer a number of care services which range between 30-minute visits to hourly, occasional, respite and daily ongoing care.
You’ll receive care in the privacy of your own home and our services include the following:
- Companionship
- Outings

- Palliative Care
Through to specialist care including end of life care.
Our visits start from a minimum of half an hour to an hour or more. Our rates are priced ‘per hour’ with the price changing depending on your requirements, time and day of visit and the length of time needed per visit from our care team.
Half Hour Visit: From £12.50
One Hour Visit: From £ 25.0 Per hour
Hourly and half-hourly care visits offer you reassurance and support as and when you need it, which means the rest of the time, you’ll be able to carry on living the life you love in comfortable surroundings. Before deciding on what’s best for you, we’ll discuss your needs and arrange a meeting, draw up a care plan and set a date to start.

Our extensive services and individually designed care packages are highly specialised, nurse-led and client outcome focused.
We work closely with our clients and their families to identify and understand their specific needs and establish how best to meet these fully.
In line with our vision to be an outstanding provider of expert, clinical, person-centred care for children and adults, we work consistently to develop and advance expert complex care services. Our approach and vision enable us to meet both current and emerging needs and help increasing numbers of clients regain and retain their quality of life, today and into the future.
We work in partnership with the NHS ICBs, Continuing Healthcare teams, acute and specialist units, professional from the wider multi-disciplinary team, medico-legal case managers and private clients.
Half-hour Visits: From £15.0
One Hour+ Visit: From £30.00 per hour
Additional charges will be levied for travelling expenses based on the location of the service user from our Derby Office location as per schedule outlined below:
- £1.50 for calls 0 to 4.5 miles away from the carer’s location per visit per carer.
- £3.00 for calls 5 to 9.5 miles away from the carer’s location.
- £4.50 for calls 10 to 14.5 miles away from the carer’s location.
- £6.00 for calls 15 to 20 miles away from the carer’s location.
Our hourly palliative care service work with your district nurse, GP and other specialist health care
professionals to assist with the physical and psychological aspects of end-of-life care.
At such difficult times, we aim to make you and your family feel as comfortable and supported as possible.
Our palliative care package includes:
- All aspects of Global Support and Care Ltd’s Specialist Care service
We also provide non-medical care and work closely with you, your family and physicians to establish
individual wishes and priorities.

8 – 12 hours of Continuous Care
Our Day or Night Care package is flexible to suit your needs – especially for those who require continuous care. Our day and night carers are there to provide 8-12 hours of continuous care, including carers who will stay awake through the night to provide comfort and support to those who need it the most.
Our package is split into Asleep Night Care and Awake Night Care.
Asleep Night Care: From £198 per night (9 hours)
Awake Night Care: From £225 per night (9 hours)
Whether you need care through the day, through the night or both – our professional carers will make sure you’re attended to in the comfort of your own home.
Our Live-in care package is designed to provide support and reassurance with everyday tasks, seven days a week.
Live-in Care Single: From £1500 per week
Live-in Care Couple: From £1850 per week

Our carers require breaks of at least two hours per day and need a minimum of eight hours of sleep per night.
Our Home from Hospital care package is a 3-6 week ‘Live-in’ plan or hourly-visit plan designed to assist you in returning home from hospital. Our carer will support you in achieving weekly goals to ensure you return to living independently within six weeks of returning home.
Planning and arranging transport and discharge arrangements
Preparation and cleaning of the home prior to return
Stocking food, washing and changing bed linen
Implementing, evaluating and reporting on weekly goals set by occupational therapist
Assisting you in regaining confidence to live independently in your own home and return to living within your community
Supporting you with personal care, housework, shopping and cooking
- Ensuring nutrition is maintained to help prevent readmission
If our carer believes the time frame of adjustment isn’t possible, we also offer a reduced care package with domiciliary visits.

The below are applicable for all Global Support and Care Ltd Plans:
- VAT is not chargeable on any care fees.
- We welcome the care of couples, for this service we charge an additional 30% to 50% of the Hourly Rate or for Live-in, an extra £50.00 to £100 per day.
- Bank Holidays will be charged at double rate.
- We invoice either Bi-Weekly or Monthly in advance (private clients only)
- We care for Private Clientele, Social Service & Direct Payment clients
- We’re fully insured with regards to public and employer liability
